If you’re anywhere near New England right now, or even if you listen to the national weather, it may seem bizarre to post a frozen cocktail when we’re about to be smacked with a nor’easter. Maybe it is. But I beg to differ. See, the only way to survive a “crippling” blizzard, (with a good chance of zero power), is to hunker down with some good company, board games, and booze. Because seriously, what else do you for 48 hours with NO TECHNOLOGY! What did they do in the storm of ’78? Oh you know…drive snowmobiles everywhere. For two weeks. Maybe we could do that.
Our most favorite way to survive any storm has usually included a good cocktail…another favorite would be frozen mudslides..so weird, but something about them warms me up on snowy days. Maybe it reminds me of drinking coffee, as if I’m laying on the beach in the Caribbean. Maybe that’s what Ill pretend is going on the next couple of days! Since that’s what this margarita tastes like!
This Frozen Pineapple Mango Margarita, tastes like the Caribbean in a glass. All you need is a little bit of island music, some sunglasses, and a cabana boy! Its perfectly fruity and slushy, makes a BIG pitcher, and can be refrozen and drank later if you don’t finish it all. It may be my new favorite frozen marg! Stay warm!
