A gorgeous and festive cocktail that is sweet, yet earthy with a little bite to it!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmasssss….Kidding, kind of. I know next week is Thanksgiving, but like I’ve mentioned, we already decorated for Christmas, (& I knoooow I’m not the only one!), this drink is super festive, and they start selling Christmas trees around here on the 25th, so per tradition, we’ll be picking ours up on Friday. We used to do black Friday shopping, who knows, maybe we still will, but it’s a lot harder to do with two little kids and the all the crazies
kiiiddding. not really, people go nuts on black Friday, I just don’t have it in me to wait in those lines or start a fight for the last item on the shelf. It’s pure entertainment to watch though..which may be part of the reason we used to show up to the mall at midnight…to watch the circus!
But now it sounds like we’d have to be there at 6pm, ON Thanksgiving. What in the holy hell is wrong with this country? Instead of spending the day with family and friends and being Thankful for all of it, people now have to spend the day lined up to buy that a TV or computer. I think its disgusting that companies started opening so early on Thanksgiving. It’s so unfair and so greedy. I’m going to stop now, because this fires me right up, and I like to try to keep it clean around here.
So! This pretty little drink would be a gorgeous addition to your Thanksgiving table, or any holiday party you’re hosting or attending this year! It’s festive and colorful, it’s tasty..slightly sweet, a bit earthy from the fresh sage, and a little bite to it from the ginger. It is is a perfect balance for everyone and will be quite a hit! Cheers!

I know next week is Thanksgiving, and most of you probably aren’t planning meals in anticipation for one of the biggest of the year, but I figured I’d still put together a meal plan, for those who don’t have Thanksgiving, and for those who don’t make a big deal about it. This year, it’s just going to be the four of us, so while I plan to make a turkey day dinner, it won’t be overflowing with leftovers. We still need to eat the other six nights of the week, right?
And if you don’t need this next week, hopefully you can still tuck it away for future reference and dinner ideas! enjoy!
Mexican Meatball Soup
LOVE this soup! It’s not as labor intensive as it sounds, and it is bursting with flavor!
Creamy Pumpkin Barley with Sausage
This looks and sounds so comforting. Ill probably swap out the pumpkin for butternut squash because I have a lot that needs to be used, and we love it, but this sounds amazing with a crusty piece of bread!
Black Bean Butternut Sliders
I’ll probably make these full size burgers so that it’s a meal, but I know they’ll go over well in this house. My husbands going to love the chipotle ketchup!
Gorgonzola Chicken Pasta
This is a favorite of mine, so easy, so creamy, so flavorful!
Spicy Pork Teriyaki Stir-fry
I love stir-frys, they’re so quick and easy!
Kung Pao Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Light and delicious..lettuce wraps are always a win especially when they’re a takeout-fake out!
-my little monkey & monster on halloween <3 -scoping out his stash & on a sugar high, wayyy to late at night -motivation. -not much beats homemade bread -i got to do a ridiculous amount of shopping when we were back on the east coast! -along with a few girls nights, where all sorts […] Read More! →
